Olivette Food Forest

.solar orientation. The equator is down (north is up).

.slope. The front yard is level with the front of the house. The side yards slope down, away from the street, such that the rear wall of the basement is at grade and opens into the backyard. (The deck is raised, to be on level with the first floor.) The backyard continues to slope down, away from the house, into a slight ditch which runs eastward, about ten feet from and parallel to the rear fence.

.notes. The first image only shows structures and perennials that are already in place and that will not be removed: our clean slate. In the last image, the label  indicates a semi-dwarf fruit tree.
